Core Values are the guiding principles of our lives. To nourish your body & soul, it's important to be authentic. Living your core values is essential to being authentic.

What Centering Core Values Describe You?
Centering core values. What's that? The past couple of years have been tough, haven't they? It feels like we've been repeatedly knocked on the top of our heads like a Whack-a-Mole. But I believe the isolation has brought many people back to their centering selves. People are taking a deep breath, rethinking their lives, and getting back to their authentic selves based on their centered guiding principles. And that's a good thing.
Sometimes we have to dig deeply to remember what our core values are. They are there; trust me. I refresh mine during the early morning hours as I drink my coffee (affiliate link for my favorite coffee) and read my daily affirmations book, Bible and other spiritual readings.
While writing daily affirmations for myself, I remember that my core values have always been there centering on kindness, integrity and truth. My plan is to eventually publish a daily affirmations book that others may find helpful, too.
How Do You Live Your Values?
I follow my heart, smile at people and offer help with integrity if it's needed, and try to speak the truth without being too blunt. That Northern girl is hard to tamp down. I speak it plain and straightforward. That's where kindness definitely needs to come into my life, reminding me to soften my words by thinking about what I have to say before I do it. I encourage you to care of yourself by eating satisfying, nourishing food that is good for your body and makes you feel healthy.
