Ingredients

acorn squash
4
tablespoons
butter
½
teaspoon
salt
pepper
about ⅙ to ¼ teaspoon
Instructions
Wash the outside of the squash.
Cut the squash in half and scoop out the seeds and stringy stuff in the center.
Cut each half of the squash in half lengthwise (so now you have 4 pieces).
Place the squash on a baking pan with the flesh side (inside) up.
Add about ¼ cup of water to the bottom of the pan.
Put one tablespoon of butter, ⅛ teaspoon salt and a little pepper in the center of each piece of squash.
Bake in a 350F degree oven for about 45 minutes or an hour until the squash is tender.
