Traditional Sage Dressing (Stuffing)

Sage, onion, celery, and cubed bread, blended to perfection and baked. What could be better? Except Gravy. You need gravy, of course.

  • 1 14-ounce Bag of Pepperidge Farm Traditional Stuffing
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
  • 3 sticks of celery diced
  • 1 yellow onion medium, diced
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1-2 Tablespoons leaf sage crumbled


  1. Mix all the ingredients except the eggs.
  2. When the mixture cools, add the eggs and mix thoroughly.
  3. Fill the interior cavity of the turkey with this mixture and bake it until the turkey is done.
  4. Or bake it separately from the turkey in a small buttered casserole dish for 25-35 minutes until the top is crispy and the stuffing is hot.
