  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 chicken tenders
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup light sour cream


  1. Heat the oil over medium heat in a Dutch oven and add the chicken.
  2. Brown the chicken on both sides, about 10 minutes.
  3. Transfer the chicken to a warm platter and keep warm.
  4. Add the spices and onions to the Dutch oven and cook for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the chicken broth.
  6. Stir to combine and reduce the broth slightly.
  7. Add the sour cream and whisk until the sauce is smooth.
  8. Pour over the warm chicken and serve with Green Tomato Chutney and rice.
