Ingredients
4
cups
frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
one package frozen
½
cup
finely chopped onion
1
cup
shredded cheddar cheese
1
8-ounce can
evaporated milk
1
large egg
lightly beaten
1
teaspoon
seasoned salt
or sea salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
Spray an 8" baking dish with oil.
Layer ½ the potatoes, ½ the onion, ½ the cheese.
Repeat.
Combine the milk, egg and salt.
Pour this mixture evenly over the potato layers.
Cover potatoes with aluminum foil.
Bake 60 minutes.
Uncover and bake 15 minutes more until golden brown.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
