  • 15-16 oz London broil cut steak

  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper

Marinate & Refrigerate

  1. Put the oil, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl and whisk until well blended.

  2. Pour half the marinade into a flat casserole dish that is big enough to hold the steak.

  3. Place the steak on top of the marinade in the casserole dish. Pour the remaining marinade over the steak.

  4. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least one hour.

Let Come to Room Temperature

  1. 30-45 minutes before grilling time, remove the marinating steak from the refirgerator.

  2. Turn the meat over in the dish to make sure it is fully coated with the marinade.

Grill & Rest Meat

  1. Cook the meat over a hot grill until done to your liking. We cook it about 7 minutes a side, which makes it cooked "medium to medium rare."

  2. Remove the steak from the heat and let it stand for a few minutes; then slice it across the grain and serve with a starch and vegetables.

Recipe Notes

Note: If you are using an indoor grill, cut the cooking time in half because this type of grill cooks both sides at the same time.
