  • 2 ounces sliced Cheddar Cheese (or any cheese)
  • 2 slices bread (or gluten free bread)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (or non-dairy spread)

  1. Warm a griddle or pan to medium (350F degrees).
  2. Spread the butter on one side of each piece of bread.
  3. Lay the bread slices butter-side down on the griddle or pan.
  4. Lay the cheese slices on one piece of bread (non-buttered side).
  5. Place the remaining piece of bread on top of the cheese, buttered side up.
  6. When the bread is golden brown on the griddle side (about 5 minutes), flip the sandwich over and brown the other side for about 5 minutes.
  7. The cheese will be all melted and bubbling hot. Serve immediately.
