Instructions
Fill a large pot about half full (4 quarts) of water, add 1 ½ tablespoon (or preferred amount) of salt and bring to a boil.
Once the water is boiling, add the linguine.
Let the linguine cook for 8 - 10 minutes. Stir occasionally, so nothing sticks to the bottom of the pot.
Finely chop 3 cloves of garlic.
Slice cherry tomatoes in halves or quarters (your preference).
Finely slice fresh basil leaves.
Add all together in a large heat resistant mixing bowl.
Cut the hard edges off the brie cheese round. You can also cut off the hard top and bottom layer for a smoother texture.
Rip brie with your hands (or scoop with a spoon) into pieces and add to the mixing bowl along with the garlic, tomato and basil.
Add salt, pepper, and pour the olive oil over everything in the bowl.
Once the linguine is cooked and ready, add to the large mixing bowl while hot, toss and mix well with all the ingredients.
The brie cheese will melt through the pasta. When mixed well, you are ready to serve.
You can serve this linguine hot or cooled,
