Heat the milk in a small saucepan until it is warm but not boiling. Remove from heat and sprinkle
the dry yeast over the milk. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes until the yeast becomes activated and foamy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour, ½ tablespoon of cinnamon, and 2
tablespoons of brown sugar. Mix well, then add the eggs and the activated yeast mixture to the dry
ingredients. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead it for approximately 5 minutes until it
becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the dough inside a bowl and cover it with a kitchen towel. Allow the dough to rise for approximately 30-40 minutes in a warm location.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle shape on a floured surface.
Brush the melted butter over the rolled-out dough. Sprinkle the sliced strawberries, remaining brown sugar, and cinnamon evenly over the buttered dough.
Starting from one of the longer sides, tightly roll the dough into a log shape. Use a sharp knife to
cut the log into 9 or 12 equal-sized rolls. Place the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
Drizzle or spread the pink frosting or pink strawberry flavored frosting over the warm cinnamon rolls. Warm the frosting in the microwave for a short time if it is too thick to drizzle or spread.
Garnish with additional sliced strawberries. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious Valentine
Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls!
