Each time you bring them out, they know the winter fun has begun. Surprise your family with snowman dinnerware sets that will add a special touch to the holiday season this year!
Snowman Dinnerware: Bring On The Season
For me, snowman dinner sets and décor is a great way to bring in the winter season, even if it's not snowing outside yet. Snowman dinnerware brings about excitement about falling snow, making snow ice cream, making snow angels, building snowmen, or the all time favorite, having snow ball fights. It's also great for fireside family time with mugs of hot cocoa.
Personally, I love changing up the kitchen and dinnerware sets. Seasonal changes only make sense. After you put away your fall dinnerware, snowflake dinnerware can make awesome décor for the winter. Many of these full dinnerware sets will have dinner places, salad plates, plate & mug combo, and more. They make a perfect holiday gift for someone in your life, too.
If you are into seasonal decorating, you might also be interested in summer dinnerware, autumn dinnerware, and spring dinnerware, and you can't forget holiday dinnerware. Gibson holiday is another line to explore, as they have some snowman dinner sets and other holiday and winter patterns you may like. I'll also show you a few that I like from Amazon. Snowman Dinnerware Choices
There are many choices when it comes to snowman patterns, which is part of what makes it so versatile and fun. This is something that everyone can love and appreciate. Here are some that I like.
Certified International Magic of Christmas Snowman 16pc Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, Multicolored
This beautiful set really brings in all the feels of the winter and holiday season. It's a cheery snowman and all of his winter friends imprinted on each piece.
Certified International Watercolor Snowman Dinnerware
This is another one from Certified International. I love the art style of this snowman and his little cardinal friend. It would make me smile to eat on or serve up some holiday food or snacks on these plates.
Certified International Christmas Lodge Snowman 11" Dinner Plates, Set of 4
These bright red snowman plates are sure to catch everyone's eye this winter or holiday season. This one also has some little birdie friends and the plates are durable and work well for mix and match with other sets, too.
Certified International Snowman's Farmhouse 16 Pc. Dinnerware Set, Service for 4
When you want a full set in one go, this is a great one. I love the farmhouse design and Mr and Mrs Snowman on the front. It's so fun and jolly and really brings in the spirit of the season. These are more Christmas-y looking than some of the other snowman sets because of the presents and wreath, too, but I also think it can work any time in the winter season.
Royal Seasons Christmas Dinner Plate Snowflakes Snowman Design
Here's another set I've seen on Amazon but it comes and goes out of stock from time to time, especially in the winter. It reminds me of one I saw years ago at a relative's house, so it always brings back good memories when I see this similar snowman design. For this one, I can only find the dinner plates, so I'm not sure if they made any additional matching pieces.
Waechtersbach Holiday Dinnerware Sets
I'm particularly fond of Waechtersbach Holiday George Dinnerware Set. It's a simple but classy white earthenware set that features a red snowman. It matches well to the Waechtersbach Cherry or White Dinnerware sets.
It also coordinates with the Waechtersbach Tannenbaum Trees Christmas dinnerware, the Waechtersbach Winter Splendor design which features beautiful snowflakes on a red background, or the Waechtersbach Snowflakes Cherry and White patterns. I love mix and match options!
Some of these are no longer in production but you can check Replacements.com for them. I've seen several of the snowman patterns on there as well as other sites for discontinued dinner sets.
Where to Find Discontinued Snowman Dinner Sets
Some very popular snowman dish sets are now discontinued, but you can still find pieces when you know where to look. Casa Moda Evergreen Ernie is a cute pattern which features snowmen on a blue background with snowflake decorations on various pieces. I've seen these pop up on Amazon now and then, and eBay too.
Sakura Snowmen Portrait Dinnerware is another cute set. It features snowmen dressed up in scarves and hats with the traditional coal eyes and carrot nose. The background is plaid and the colors in the pattern are red, green, white and black. It is simply adorable.
If you are more into designer dinnerware, you are sure like Rachael Ray's Little Hoot and the Snowman pattern . It features a simple snowman with the famous Little Hoot owl perched on his limb-arm. The snowman is in a charming winter setting with snowflakes in the background. The holiday pieces coordinate well with solid colored dinnerware sets of blue, red, white, brown or black.
eBay is a great place to find discontinued patterns and snowman and snowflake patterns from less popular distributors. If you wish, you can get a full dinnerware set or just accessories that coordinate with your everyday dinnerware. There are tons of figurines, serving platters and bowls, cookie jars, candy dishes, glass and mug sets, dessert plates and so forth to bring the winter wonderland into your home.
