    Vinegar Sugar Dressing

What dressing do you put over bitter lettuce? My mom always used this vinegar and sugar dressing. It's a simple salad dressing that takes just a couple minutes to make. Only four ingredients. And it's vegan.

You can use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar. I usually use white vinegar. Mix in the sugar, and add the salt and pepper. When I use turbinado sugar, I warm the vinegar dressing for 30 seconds in my microwave; it helps the sugar dissolve. Whisk to make sure it is well combined.

For this recipe, you will need a measuring cup and spoons, and a wire whisk. But what you really want is some terrific dinnerware, right?
