Make Bite Sized Cinnamon Rolls The Easy Way

    by Kathy Owen

Share on Facebook Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest

These bite-sized cinnamon rolls are cooked in the air fryer using canned premade dough. They are quick and easy to make for breakfast or for snack time.

Bite Sized Cinnamon Rolls Air Fryer Recipe

Cut each cinnamon roll into four pieces, roll them into balls, coat them with cinnamon sugar, and let the air fryer do the work. Ta-dah! All done. After they're cooked, brush with melted band roll in cinnamon sugar again. Next is the best part.....the icing. The premade packaged icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls tastes yummy. That's the part that makes these little rolls feel like a treat.

    Ingredients

    • 1 ounce Cinnamon Rolls (12.4 can) including the icing
    • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
    • 1 ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
    • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted

Air fryer basket filled with golden-brown, bite sized cinnamon rolls, with a bowl of cinnamon sugar and a white cloth on a white countertop nearby.

    Instructions

    1. Remove the cinnamon rolls from their package, cut each into quarters, then roll into smooth balls.
    2. Mix together the cinnamon sugar, then roll the cinnamon roll balls into the mixture to coat completely.
    3. Air fry at 330℉ for about 5 minutes.
    4. Brush the butter over the bites and roll in the cinnamon and sugar mixture again, then let cool slightly.
    5. Serve with the icing that came in the package with the cinnamon rolls.
    6. Once they're done, brush the bites with melted butter, then roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture again. Let them cool slightly before serving.

    Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 390℉ for about 2 minutes, or until thoroughly warm.

    The Icing

The icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls doesn't go into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Save it for after the rolls are done. You can drizzle it over the cinnamon roll bites or use it as a dipping sauce. Either way works. I like mine spread on the rolls.

How To Store Cinnamon Roll Bites

Store leftover cinnamon roll bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 to 5 days.

To reheat them, return the bites to the air fryer at 390°F for about 2 minutes, or until thoroughly warm.

Since these are best served warm, the quick air-fryer reheat makes it easy to enjoy the leftovers without much fuss. I use my air fryer to reheat pizza, those wild west shrimp you get from Longhorns, fried catfish, and more. The food taste as good as when it was first made.A white plate filled with round, bite-sized cinnamon sugar donut holes, reminiscent of bite sized cinnamon rolls, with a blurred background showing a white napkin and kitchen items.
