    Kielbasa and sauerkraut is one of those classic comfort dishes that’s as simple as it is satisfying. It can be served in so many ways; over mashed potatoes, in bowls, on rolls, or as a hearty one-pan meal.

    • Kielbasa Smoked Sausages
    • Butter 
    • Onion
    • Garlic Cloves
    • Sauerkraut
    • Salt 
    • Black Pepper 
    • Thyme Leaves

    How to Make Kielbasa and Sauerkraut

    Step 1. Saute Kielbasa

    In a large deep skillet/saute pan over medium heat, saute the sliced kielbasa in butter until slices are browned. Transfer browned sausage to a plate and set aside. 

    Step 2. Saute Onions and Garlic

    In the same skillet, saute the onions and garlic until the onions become translucent.

    Step 3. Add Sauerkraut

    Add the sauerkraut, salt, pepper, thyme, and the browned sausage to the skillet.

    Stir to combine. Continue cooking for 5 minutes to heat the sauerkraut.

    Step 4. Serve and Enjoy!

    • 12 oz Polska Kielbasa Smoked Sausages, sliced thick 
    • 4 tablespoon Butter 
    • 1 Large Onion, diced 
    • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced 
    • 48 oz Sauerkraut from jar, drained well 
    • 1 teaspoon Salt 
    • ¾ teaspoon Black Pepper 
    • ¾ teaspoon Thyme Leaves
