Chicken Sausage and Cabbage Stir Fry is a good “down home” kind of meal.
Chicken Sausage & Cabbage Stir Fry
Chicken Sausage and Cabbage Stir Fry is a recipe that is in permanent rotation at our house, especially in the fall. I love sausage, don’t you? But regular sausage is very high in fat and not particularly good for you. Along comes Chicken Sausage. The sausage is lower in fat (only 6g per link) than pork sausage. Hooray!
There are now available several types of better-for-you sausage. I used Roasted Red Pepper and Spinach Chicken Sausage but I have also used the Chicken and Apple Sausage, and it’s super good, too. Put it together with chopped fried cabbage to make this Chicken Sausage and Cabbage Stir Fry in about 30 minutes. What a wonderful pairing! It’s a great combination of deliciousness, and would be perfect on a cold winter’s evening, too.
I suggest you try this recipe and leave a comment about how you liked it or what you would do to change it. After all, recipes are just an idea!
